Our kinda news.

Only in Holland.

A balanced diet.

FUCK THE MTA

God damn bastards just don't got no love for no one, not even Santa. If you wake up on the 25th and are covered in puke and blood, and still get no presents, you know who to blame, the god damn MTA and the never ending cascade of ineptitude and shit they pile on us all.

Slacker Style

Slacker does not have a website, he barely even knows what the internet is. We had to set him up a email account before the show and he kept forgetting the password.

The show was called "Dead Men On The Radio" and consisted of 15 free hand renditions of some of the most loved artists to have ever made their family's rich on royalty checks.

This kid can drink, sniff, yell, and make you laugh more than almost any single human i have ever met, and oh yeah, he's about as gifted a free hand artist as i have ever seen in any book or fancy ass self absorbed traditional "gallery". He is a near legend of XXX, and people from all over have been chasing him for a show for years, now hes here with us, come by and check it out, its up till Valentines day.

The stars at night, they shine so bright.

There are a lot of people that will say a lot of things about NYC, mostly ignorable in my op. So the last thing that really needs to be done by me, is shlock some more of that garbage on to the already stench filled heap of recommendations and misleading overpriced garbage. But in all honesty, there is nothing that i can say to express the love i have for Max Fish. Its a old friend, and the epicenter of a lot of creative energy in LES. The staff if treated correctly, is always cool as hell and ready to shoot the shit. I have been praticly living there for as long as i can remember, but just wanted to share the Xmas spirit and show love.

KOB's daughters friends kids

Hardest Core, the 3 am sessions.

This incorrectly tagged vid is the after party for Slackers "dead men singing" exposition (a show we have yet to write up, were a slacker too). Slack jaw had his crew come in to town and set up this make shift insane mini ramp inside the now defunct Katnbak art space.

Was a ill night, Waaaaaay to much booze and joints, i don't even want to think about what i was up to when this was being shot, needless to say, im not riding in this video at all, and im not filming it. If i was involved in anyway this would have ended up on faces of death, and not this fun little blog thing we do here.

Forgive the lack of any 900's or passable camera work, it was late, and this was not the x games.

Wolf and Pack VS. Secret Wars

WNP

Daydream

For those that were left late in to the night after RED fucked it all up, we set up a drawing battle against the UK secret wars team VS. our house boys, the Wolf and Pack team of Wayne Horse (waynehorse.com), The London Police (thelondonpolice.com) and Morcky boy (twothings.net)

After things got personal, and the walls filled up, time expired, and it was up to the crowd to shout out for the winner. The UK boys had a meter to see how loud people got, and after some sore throats, and some hurt feelings. The wolf and pack team fucked shit up, and handed those Red Coats the first loss of their tour across the great EU. I'm sure these guys are going to kill it across the rest of the tour, but they better not bring that shit to XXX again unless they want more!

Props to the full house who kept the vibe alive in to the night, it was great to see how many people hung out to vote and see the artists in action.

As good a picture of REDMAN as i took.

So honestly, i'm not really one to go take pictures of people doing their thing all close style, so this is as good a picture as i ended up taking out of the 3 or 4 i took when RED came out.

Needless to say, he went off, and what was suppoed to only go for three songs went for almost a hour. Much thanks and props to our friends over at Hemp Works and HempHoodlamb.com for hooking it all up for everyone and throwing what is definitely becoming the premiere party of the cup, year after year after year.

Abners gonna eat beans.

Abner Preis (abnerpreis.com) and Chong, who was totally not in to anything but Abner's shirt and how smoky it seems to have been.

FLC up in the house!

Much love to our peoples Frank and Fisty for showing up to light up a smoke filled DJ set here in town for the Cani Cup. The boys had to take off for Dubai the next morning to go spin a set for some princes event, evidently its all about being a prince down there. Dont get killed over in iraq boys!

And make sure to drool over yet another spy photo of our upcoming embroidered line.

Where's the love?

No love in this game of ours sometimes.

Ne exageration, here is the best movie ever made EVER!

For some reason Nokia gave my friend Abner a Camera Phone to go make a movie for this pseudo film festival they were having. It was supposed to be him and a bunch of other artists, but, for some reason his work was not shown. Fuck, they did not even let anyone keep the cameras, no love all around.

So, in hopes of this masterpiece finding a appropriate audience, i offer it to you, the pack. Really what were dealing with here is a cinematic opera that years from now will influence a whole new generation of people to go make bad shitty cooperate films.

The stench of tattos and corprate misunderstanding.

A while ago Nokia decided to go all art fag on us, and asked a bunch of artists i know to take out one of there new cameras (i will not say which, as this is not a promtion for them in any way, fuck them, i use smoke signals!) out for a spin to make a short film for a festivil they were having. Needless to say, my friend abner was given a camera, and made a film that did not even get

Getting all live talking the game we love.

Better late than never news #3- Abner Preis AKA Eat Shit Smile!

Sometimes you can bullshit other people, sometimes, more often you can bullshit yourself. So i wont even really try to express some art talk in this, all the ideas that cant really be distilled anyway, no matter who is expressing them.
Abner is from Philly, i am from NYC, aside from the few debates we have about teams that neither of us really follow anymore, things go easy.
His show was a mix of art, people, and live performance. Abner has a rare way of mixing people up, not just the heads that show up to every event, but wired fuck off people that you never saw before, a rare talent in Amsterdam's fishbowl scene vibe.
His show consisted of a series of pen drawings challenging todays hero value system, asking the simple question, "why"? As well as "letters home from the war", by CRPL. Eat Shit, a series of sketches/words, based on real letters home from this fucked up sandbox situation.

Nice things in rain, a lot of rain.

Better late than never news #2- Galo

Its weird how sometimes you chase people to work with them, and other people you just end up working with out of a natural progression. For me and Galo, our show together was a easy fix from hanging out all the time and going nuts in the rain soaked Amsterdam environment. We found even ground over substance and insanity, a show was the next logical step. Galo had been working on a new style of his art around the time of his show, and this was the culmination of that style in to a complete show. More interconnected than his older work, more fluid and psychedelic it was the next step for him, and we were happy to be there to see it happen. His art is all over the XXX and definitely part of the core scene of artists that are making moves to make the dream real. Check him out at Www.Galoart.net
